Valentine Day

The History of Valentine's DayEvery February, across the country, candy, flowers, and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. But who is this mysterious saint and why do we celebrate this holiday? The history of Valentine's Day -- and its patron saint -- is shrouded in mystery. But we do know that February has long been a month of romance. St. Valentine's Day, as we know it today, contains vestiges of both Christian and ancient Roman tradition. So, who was Saint Valentine and how did he become associated with this ancient rite? Today, the Catholic Church recognizes at least three different saints named Valentine or Valentinus, all of whom were martyred.
One legend contends that Valentine was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. When Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men -- his crop of potential soldiers. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine's actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.

I have two family pets: a dog and acat. The dog's name is Brown. H e is a big golden Labrador. He is a beautiful. He has big brown eyes and long tail. He is very friendly dog , but he is sometimes a little stupid.

My cat is named Toy . She is quite yong , but she is not a kitten. She is very pretty. She has black and white fur and brown eyes. She's smart , too , and very clean.

My family room

The family room is my favorite room. There are stairs that go down to it. It has light yellow walls. There aren't any curtains , there's an old red carpet on the floor. It's really cheerful . There are two posters on the wall. There's also a closet full of old games and clothes. There are a lot of thing in the family room . There's a desk with computer on it. I do homework there.
My cat likes to sleep under the desk. There is a table and some chairs. And there's an exercise bike in the corner. It's my father. There's also and cld couch in the family room Under the couch there a big black box. There is abig old chair next to the couch and small table next to the chair. I like the basement best when I'm alone in it.

My memorable day

On Chrismas Day , I felt cheerful. When I woke up. First , I took a shower and got dress in order to give food to a priests with my parents. I went to a department store shopping. I want to buy a present for my parents. I decorate my home by accessaries and dalls on a Christmas tree. After that , I invite my friends to my party in order to exchange the presents. In the afternoon , we had enjoyed together in party. Finally , I felt happy very much on Christmas Day and I hope that next year will happier than this yesr.

My family

I have a small family. I have four people in my family. My parent's names are Somsak and Rampoei Somsok. I have one yonger sister. Her name is Patchaporn Somsok. She is 14 years old and she is studying in high school at Khamkaennakorn school. My father's occupation is a driver and my mother's occupation is a housewife. I usually go shopping and have dinner with them on weekend. Mostly, I spend time with my family such as ; watching television and cleaning the house. My grandparents love to invite us to their house for dinner. I have a wram family because they love and understand me. My grandmother was died since I was born , but my grandfather is still live. Now , My family live in Khonkaen , but I live in Bangkok because I am studying at Suan Dusit University.
Finally , I will make everything for my parent's for good future and my parents are proud of me. I think I am lucky because I have a good family and I hope everybody will happy and lovely your family.

my story

My name is Patpong Somsok. I was born on wednesday the 22nd of April in 1987 at Khone Kaen. I have lived in Khon Kaen since I was born.
First, I have four people in my family. I have one sister. She lives in Khon Kaen with my parents. I studied in secondary school at Khamkaennakorn school. Now, I am studying at Suan Dusit Rajabhat University. I am studying in English Major. In my free time, I like reading novel and listening to the radio. On my holiday, I like to go see movies and shopping. In the future, I must have a good job and a successful in my life. I want to be a guide because I like to go sightseeing. So, I try to study hard and attention to study. It's my dream and I think that I can do it.
Finally, I was born in a warm family because everybody understands each other.
